Review of Planet Ayurveda in Ambala, Haryana | Case Study #21

Amit Kumar is a farmer of Mulana town in Ambala district of Haryana. He is married and has 2 kids and his wife is a housewife. In India all the leaders keep bursting out “Jai Jawan, Jai Kissan”, (hale the soldiers and hale the farmers) he being a farmer had to spend a lot on his own disease of Ulcerative Colitis (UC), but the cure still eluded him and he had to run to so many hospitals to find a remedy. He was such a clinched farmer who was ready to face any challenges and grab this disease’s bull by its horn. He was still young as he was just 27 years of age, but the moment when UC was detected he was just 25. The initial symptoms appeared when he was mere 23, in the year 2015. This is when he had swelling around his joints, a mild one, and had loose motions and visited the toilet from 5 to 7 times. Sometimes he used to exert pressure but the stools never came out. Sometimes these symptoms used to fade away and he used to think it’s all over now, but recur time and again.

After trying various different doctors near Ambala he came to Ivy hospital in Mohali, a sub town of Chandigarh. There doctors did various lab tests such as CBC (Complete blood count), Ultrasonography Colonoscopy, Biopsy done and all proved that he was suffering from UC and had to eat the medicine for a long time and get injected by steroids laced injections from time to time. He was a well to do farmer and without worrying about the costs, he readily agreed. The doctors there began treating him, every week or after a fortnight he used to come all the way from Ambala to Chandigarh and from there to Mohali and to take his dose of medicines.

His symptoms did reduce initially, but very soon used to recur the moment the medication was over. Rarely the symptoms also recurred during the treatment when it was still going on, but the doctors just kept giving him one excuse after another and he believing in them used to get carried away. This experiment kept going on for 3 years continuously. After such a long period even he was getting irritated as he had spend lakhs of rupees, but was unable to get the results that he was seeking. He even went to Max hospital in Mohali for a few months but failed to get the desired results.

But as said earlier, he was adamant and clinched who never said die. But ‘fortune favors the brave’ and after searching cure, he was impressed by videos of many UC patients on Youtube by Planet Ayurveda.

After the greetings he showed them the disease related papers and his own history. The doctors observed the whole papers very keenly and after some discussion with themselves turned towards Amit Kumar and said, “Look Mr. Amit, you need to follow the prescription strictly otherwise you will not get the desired results and take Ulcerative Colitis care Pack and note down the diet that you have to consume and which one to avoid.” He noted all the prescription and asked the doctor, “Sir how much long will it take to get complete treatment?” “It all depends on the patient’s body.
