A Young Couple’s Son had a Low Platelet Count

A young couple who had come from Faridabad had their son who was mere 4 years of age and had a low platelet count, about 7,000. Red spots appeared on his tongue and they took him to the local doctor who suggested him the treatment. The doctors did his bone marrow test and found his platelet level too low. They transfused his body with platelets and their count increased to 2, 00,000 but very soon came down. They did provide some medicines too but his body could not sustain them.
