- Worked for a Charitable organization in village called Bad Majra in Mohali, Punjab. The job was to prepare herbal combinations for various patients and see patients. Used to prescribe herbal combinations to about 40 to 50 patients per day.
- Worked for Dabur India Ltd., a leading Ayurvedic/ Herbal company of India as a Consultant Ayurvedic Physician from August, 2005 till Jan – 2008 in Chandigarh, India. The job was to examine patients and recommend herbal/Ayurvedic treatments and prescribe herbal/Ayurvedic medicines. Used to see about 20 patients per day.
- Worked as honorary Ayurveda consultant physician for charitable organization “Bharat Vikas Parishad” to offer free consultations for helping poor patients. Used to see about 10-15 patients per day, early in the morning from 8 AM till 11 AM.
- Completed MD in Ayurveda with a thesis and research work on Role of herbs Withania somnifera and Sida cordifolia in improving muscle strength of patients suffering from Diabetes. The Thesis was submitted in Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, Punjab- India.
- Developed own range of herbal formulations under brand name Planet Ayurveda.
- Established a herbal export company in the name of Krishna herbal company, in 2001 and GMP Certified herbal manufacturing unit in the name of Planet Ayurveda. The companies were registered with US-FDA for exports from India to USA. Started export of herbal products to USA, Singapore, Slovakia, Latvia, Holland, Canada and many other countries. The products were registered in these countries for legal exports to these countries and developed as per EU, Canadian and American standards.

“URJA 2016” – The Mega Event of Astrology and Ayurveda was held in Chandigarh at the Dusshera Ground, Sector – 34, from 14th to 16th October, 2016. It was organized by Jyotish Prangan in association with Planet Ayurveda. The Book (Ayurveda – “God’s Manual for Healing”) Written by Dr. Vikram Chauhan (M.D. Ayurveda) was presented to public by Honorable Governor of Punjab, Shri Vijayendra Pal Singh Badnore during this event.
More than 100, Ayurveda experts, astrologers and natural healers were part of this event and few were honored by honorable governor.
It was a great attraction for tri-city and more than 10,000 people visited the Planet Ayurveda stall. Many were interested in pulse diagnosis and prakriti analysis and wanted to seek good ayurvedic guidance from Dr. Vikram Chauhan and Dr. Meenakshi Chauhan.
