Case Study No: 116 | Fibromyalgia – Rishita

Rishita from Kaithal suffered from Fibromyalgia and felt a pain in her right hand initially. But very soon the pain spread in her whole body and she was taken to a doctor at Kaithal. The doctor described her disease to be Fibromyalgia and said that she had an infection in her ulnar nerve. He gave her the pain killers and steroids, but these did provide her some temporary relief. Very soon the pain used to come back. She went to Patiala and got her brain MRI scanned but the doctors couldn’t find anything wrong. She decided to change her treatment and even went to the renowned hospital in Chandigarh that did her various tests like a blood test, calcium test, checked her sodium level. But all appeared normal, making the doctors confused about her problem. They never understood what kind of disease she had. She was getting restless when her uncle, her dad’s brother, who is a manager in a bank at Mohali had heard a lot about Planet Ayurveda asked them to come to Mohali and get an authentic treatment. She was planning to go to another hospital in New Delhi.

She arrived along with her dad in Chandigarh a day earlier and spent the night with her uncle who resides there. The next day, both got up early and reached the divine clinic of Planet Ayurveda. Both sat down and waited for their turn. “Rishita” someone called her name loudly around 11:30am and both went to the room of the doctor, who was sitting behind a huge table. After the initial greetings the doctor asked them to hand over her disease related papers that she did so in a humble way. The doctor saw her reports and knew straight away that she was suffering from Fibromyalgia. The doctor scrutinized them carefully and after finishing asked her to tell him the history and she did do that with full honesty. When she was speaking the doctor kept writing the names of some medicines on that sheet. Her hands that were stiff when she began eating the medicines from Planet Ayurveda and now she can open and close them firmly.
