Dugri Devi, an old Woman Got Treated from Planet Ayurveda

Dugri Devi is a lady who is 55 years of age and was suffering from diabetes for the last 20 years. She was taking the usual medicines to control it. She was not ready to face the consequences, when her creatinine level went up to about 4 in 2016. Her son, Rajesh who works in New Delhi took her to a renowned hospital in New Delhi, the city that is the capital of India and is famous for holding many renowned hospitals that can eradicate any disease but she was unable to find relief. When someone he knew said that he knows a famous doctor in Allahabad that cures kidney diseases he took her there and the doctor asked for various tests, which he got done at a famous lab. The lady checked her diary and fixed his date welcoming them and asked him to bring all the lab reports and clinic prescriptions that were with him of the various hospitals they had been to. She also told him that the clinic opens at 9:30am and the doctors consult patients on a first come first serve basis. He had made a file of all the labs and hospital prescriptions and had them all.

On the fixed date he took a train from New Delhi to Chandigarh and hired a cab from Chandigarh railway station to the HQ of Planet Ayurveda in Mohali (a city that is adjacent to Chandigarh). On reaching Planet Ayurveda premises he was deeply impressed by seeing many people thronging at their threshold. He took his mom and went inside straight to the receptionist and introduced himself. With a lovely smile the lady said, “Welcome sir, we do have a treatment that will definitely help your mom, but you have to wait for the doctors as they will be coming very soon. Take a seat, sir.” He sank down a chair and made her mom sit right next to him and waited for his turn.

His turn came around 2pm when someone called the name Durga Devi and he got up and shouldered his mom and were ushered into the doctor’s room. After the greetings he made his mom seated on a chair opposite the doctor and sat next to her. The doctor asked for her file that he gave it to him and the doctor began studying it carefully. After he had finished he asked her to narrate her history, which she did in a low pitch voice as she was feeling very weak. After she had finished, the doctor scribbled some medicines on the official pad of Planet Ayurveda and turned towards Rajesh and said, “Look Mr. Rajesh, first take our Revive Kidneys Pack and take it according to the prescriptions mentioned here,” showed him the slip and continued, “You have to remain a little alert about her diet. Here is a list of foods and drinks to take and what to avoid.” He took out a sheet from his drawer and gave it to him and Rajesh tucked it in his file.

“Sir, how long does she have to eat these medicines?” asked Rajesh. “Right now I have prescribed the medicine for 15 days and do get her tested after the dosage and show me the reports. I might need to change some medicine or diet, you can call me on the phone or mail me the report, I will tell you the details as we have some distributor in New Delhi,” said the doctor in a very polite way. “No sir, we do have a relative in Chandigarh and she can stay over here and I’ll bring her here after 15 days,” answered Rajesh. “That will be much better,” said the doctor and bid them goodbye.

Both came out from the doctor’s room and after making her sit in a chair, he headed towards their pharmacy that is located opposite the doctor’s room. He got the pack and headed to Chandigarh and after reaching their relatives told them about the whole situation. His relatives welcomed them and wished her a speedy recovery. He went to the market and purchased all the grocery that the doctor had recommended. The medicine worked wonderfully and she felt over enthusiastic and got tested after 12 days and went with him to a lab and saw her creatinine level fall to 3.9 for 13.5. He felt over the moon and both of them rushed to Planet Ayurveda and faces told the whole story. Both were delighted to the core and thanked Dr. Vikram Chauhan for saving her life, who told her to remain stick to his food recommendations and kidney will always remain healthy. Both went away in an elated mood.
