Review of Planet Ayurveda in Kolkata, West Bengal | Case Study #3

Ardenu, a young kid of a school teacher was a happy go lucky kid who stayed at Kolkata and used to play a lot. Basically he never hurt himself as he used to play video games mostly with his cousins, friends and neighbors. When he was around 9 years old, black blemishes appeared on his skin texture. His parents, both are school teachers in different schools, got worried and showed him to a local clinic and the doctor suggested a CBC and bone marrow aspirations done. They took him to a reputed lab and got his tests done. CBC result was in their hands after 2 hours and it detected that his platelet count was too low, mere 22,000 per microliter of blood. They both took him to a private hospital and doctors did try to transfuse more platelets and again did the test, which was not very satisfactory, enhancing by a small number, just 30,000 per microliter of blood. But they asked him to be careful and not incur a wound or cut as the blood flow will be difficult to stop as his platelet count was so low. A normal person has a platelet count of 1,50.000 to 4.00.000 per microliter of blood. So the parents did paid regular visits to them, but the results were very poor. Both used to keep a hawk’s eye on him so that he doesn’t incur an injury. Their jobs were getting disturbed as Ardenu studied in his mom’s school, where it was announced in the school assembly that no one will hurt Ardenu.
