A Patient of Ulcerative colitis that was made to float in the air by Planet Ayurveda!

Akash, meaning the sky, who never believed that even sky is the limit wanted to excel in his company, a multinational company working for the US, and he used to work during the night shift and sleep all day. His eating habits turned topsy turvy due to this job and he never paid any attention to what he is eating. Pizza’s, burger became a routine affair with any kinds of soft drinks and all that spicy & sour foods.

He didn’t feel anything wrong with it; as he was young and never realized that such foods do have after effects that can deteriorate anybody’s health. As is the fashion these entire young generations keep impressing the opposite sex by indulging in eating all these junk foods. He stayed away from his hometown and used to appear in a flamboyant manner. But all this stuff did show some symptoms and he kept ignoring them for about 4 months. He used to pass stools from 2 to 3 times, but he thought that as he ate so much junk food, that’s why?

The symptoms enhanced after 4 months when blood started coming along with the stools and he felt abdominal cramps. These symptoms flared up during March 2016 and he consulted a doctor, who prescribed some allopathic medicines and asked him to collect the bleeding the moment it happens and reach the hospital. The clinic opens at 9:30am sir.”

The day after tomorrow he reached Planet Ayurveda in August, 2018, and was impressed after seeing the huge rush of patients in their green premises. The people had come from far flung places, there were some foreigners too. He reached the reception and the lady asked him to wait as the doctors served all patients on the first come, first serve basis. He sat with the already waiting patients and waited for his turn which came at 12:15 pm and he was ushered in the doctor’s room. After the greetings he showed them the disease related papers and various labs tests done and also narrated his family history. He told the doctors that his disease used to flare up from March to August. The doctors scrutinized the whole papers very keenly and after some discussion with themselves turned towards Akash and said, “You don’t have to worry about these months, I’ll break this circle but look Sir, you need to follow the prescription strictly or you will not get the desired results. He got up and reached the pharmacy, which is situated within the premises and left after having the pack headed towards his home. Only after a fortnight his happiness did display when he called the reception as all the symptoms had declined showing his health has improved. After a period of 2 months he astonished us by surfacing along with his wife. He had brought some sweets with him that he shared with all the people working at this fabulous clinic. Even the doctor asked him to leave the medicines, and stick to the diet only but he insisted that as there was no fare up this March, let him continue up to August and will leave the medicine after that. He was just busy in praising the doctor and used to have pomegranate juice at his home like the one you get in the market is a juice mixed with water and so many chemicals. He also said that whenever he felt thirsty, he just had coconut water. The doctor told him that the coconut water is like having amrit (nectar) for his body as he will never face any problem with his health as coconut water has many benefits and no bad effects.
