Kamaldeep Singh from Rampur suffered from Ulcerative Colitis (UC) and he used to pass stools many times a day and bleeding also started happening along with them. He went to a local doctor who did give him some effective medicines that used to reduce the frequency of his stools initially but it used to arise again after the dosage got over putting him back on square one. From Rampur, he took a train and got out at Mohali railway station as it is quite close to the HQ of Planet Ayurveda. On his arrival, he was impressed by seeing a fleet of cars parked at their premises. He left his cab and entered their green premises and was quite pleasantly surprised to find hoards of people present in their AC lounge waiting for the doctor. He went straight to the receptionist. Kamaldeep Singh introduced himself and asked her, “When will the doctors come?” about 10:30 am and she made a slip with his name written on it and asked him to come along her, which he did. She took him to an assistant doctor who was sitting in another room. The assistant doctor kept asking him to tell about his symptoms and wrote them on that sheet of paper that had his name written on it.

Then she asked him to wait for the doctors in their AC room. He also sat in the lounge and waited for his turn. “Mr. Kamaldeep Singh” someone called his name a bit loudly at around 2 pm and he got up and was ushered in the doctor’s room. After the initial greetings the doctor asked him to take a seat opposite him and he did just that.

“Can I see your disease related papers?” asked the doctor. “Sure, here they are” and he pushed his file that he had placed on the table, towards the doctor, who scrutinized the file carefully. After checking the file the doctor asked him to narrate his history, which he did in the most honest manner. While he was speaking, the doctor kept scribbling some medicines on his slip and after he had finished, he looked up and said, “You are suffering from Ulcerative Colitis for quite some time and here are the medicines, take Ulcerative Colitis Care Pack according to the prescriptions written here.” And he showed him the slip on which he had scribbled a few moments earlier. “You also need to take care about your diet. I’ll give you a diet chart on which foods to eat and which you should avoid. Stick to the diet chart and very soon your sorrow will fade away,” he added. Then he opened a drawer and gave him the diet chart that he studied carefully.

He bought his pack and left the premises and stayed at a hotel in Chandigarh and went to Rampur the very next day and began his medication from that day. The first 15 days he had no effect, but it was after a fortnight that these medicines started showing its effects. After a month and a half he was almost cured but to remain on the safe side he did take the medicine for at least 2 months and is feeling 90% fine now. Recently he re-visited Planet Ayurveda and said that the bleeding stopped in the first month and he is feeling a lot of relief now.
