Mohammad Zahid is from Malerkotla and suffered from Ulcerative Colitis in July 2018. He used to pass the stools for a minimum 10 times to 15 times a day. Bleeding and mucus also used to come along with stools. He consulted a local doctor who warned him that his disease is going to last quite longer. He also assured him that he has the medicines that will find a cure for his disease. He kept giving him the medicines that were laced with steroids and Mohammad Zahid being an educated guy knew that steroids had a lot of side effects. On his arrival, he was impressed with seeing a fleet of cars parked on their premises. He left his cab and entered their premises and was quite surprised to find hoards of people present in their AC lounge waiting for the doctor. He went straight to the receptionist. Mohamad Zahid introduced himself and asked her, “When will the doctor come?” she said,” about 10:30 and made a slip with his name written on it and asked him to come along with her and she took him to an assistant doctor. She was sitting in another room and she asked him to tell about his symptoms and wrote them on that sheet of paper that had his name written on it. Then she asked him to wait for the doctors in their AC room.

He sat in the lounge and waited for his turn. “Mr. Mohammad Zahid” someone called his name a bit loudly at around 2pm and he got up and was ushered into the doctor’s room. After the initial greetings the doctor asked him to take a seat opposite to him and he did just that.

“Can I see your disease related papers?” asked the doctor. “Sure, here they are” and he handed over his file to the doctor, who scrutinized the file. After checking the file the doctor asked him to narrate his history, which he did most genuinely. While he was speaking the doctor kept writing some medicines on his slip and after he had finished, he looked up and said, “You are suffering from Ulcerative Colitis for quite a time and here are the medicines, take Ulcerative Colitis Care Pack according to the prescriptions written here.” And he showed him the slip on which he had scribbled a few moments earlier. “You also need to take care about your diet. “OK doctor, can I ask you something?” he asked. And then added, “And sir please call us and tell the effects every month.” He bid the doctor goodbye and got up and headed towards the pharmacy to collect the medicines.

He bought his pack and left for Malerkotla the same day and began his medication from the next day. The first 15 days he did not get affect, but it was after a fortnight that these medicines started showing its effects. His bleeding and mucus were gone completely. After a month and a half he was almost cured, but to remain on the safe side, he did take the medicine for 3 months and is fine now. He came back to Planet Ayurveda and say thanks to Dr. Vikram Chauhan and his laughing face revealed how elated he felt.
