EARLY-MORNING

LUNCH
Plain Chapatti / Missi Roti / Boiled Rice / Sago Khichri / Sweet Rice / Vegetable + Dal + Curd
EVENING-TEA
Tea + 2 Biscuits / Coffee / Milk / Roasted Chana / Sprouts / Green tea / Soup (Home-made) / Sugarcane juice
DINNER
Chapatti / Plain chapatti / Boiled Rice / Vegetable + Dal / Grilled Fish or Chicken
DIET INSTRUCTIONS
EAT REGULARLY
Cereal Foods:- Whole wheat flour, oatmeal, whole brown bread, whole grains cereals, porridge, oats, brown rice, digestive biscuits, whole-wheat pasta, quinoa, millet and buckwheat.
Dry Fruits:- 4-5 Almonds (soak in water overnight), soaked Dates, and soaked figs.
Fruits:- Grapes, avocadoes, apples, apricots, watermelon, orange, banana, berries, Guava, and papaya.
Vegetables:- Bottle gourd, bitter gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin, boiled carrots, coriander leaves, spinach leaves, fenugreek leaves, turnip, potatoes, beetroot, spinach, mustard greens, chicory, cauliflower, cabbage, sweet potatoes, kale, tomatoes, winter squash, Garlic, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, onion, and mushrooms.
Flesh Foods:- Egg white, Roasted chicken, and Grilled Fish.
Pulses:- All pulses and legumes.
Fats:- Small amount only, unsaturated fats – vegetable oils. 500 ml cooking oil should be used by one person per month. Oil brand should be changed after every three months.
Spices:- Cumin, coriander, salt, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and pepper.
Drinks:- Coconut water, clear soups, sugarcane juice, fat free homemade soups, green juice, herbal tea, beetroot juice, low fat milk, and tea, Aloe Vera juice, bitter gourd juice, gooseberry juice, pumpkin juice, pomegranate juice (10ml). Water intake 8-10 glass per day regularly.
Flour Ratio:- Wheat Atta (50%) + Jau Atta (10%) + Soybean Atta (10%) + Bengal gram dal Atta (10%).
AVOID EATING
Cereal Foods:- Sweet biscuits, cream filled biscuits, cream crackers, cheese biscuits, noodles, pasta, and macaroni.
Dry Fruits:- Pistachio, raisins, and cashew nuts.
Vegetables:- Canned vegetables and packed vegetable Juices, eggplant, chili peppers. Chips and roasted potatoes, crisp and cheese filled snacks, and coconut.
Flesh Foods:- Fish fried in suitable oil, prawns, lobster, crab, lean beef, pork, lamb, ham, very lean minced meat, turkey, veal, rabbit, egg yolk, fish roe, sausages, mutton, salami, bacon, duck, goose, meat pies, visible fat on meat, chicken skin, liver, kidney, and chest.
Dairy Foods:- Whole milk and cream, full fat yoghurt, cheese, cream cheese, evaporated or condensed milk, curd and cheese.
Prepared Foods:- Pastry, puddings, made with whole milk and fat as above, salad dressings made with allowed oil, packed soups, high fat dressing or mayonnaise, cream soups, chocolate, chocolate spreads, toffees, fudge, butterscotch, coconut bar, cakes, biscuits, paranthas, puris, samosas (Rissoles) and all fried foods, sauces etc. peanut butter, fruit jellies, jams, marmalade, honey, sweeteners, chutneys, pickle, ice-cream, sauces etc.
Spices:- Red chilies, green chilies, and table salt (in excessive amount).
Drinks:- Whole milk drinks, cream based liqueurs, canned soup and packaged soup, Alcohol, sweetened drinks, squashes, hot chocolate drinks made with skimmed milk. Skipping meals should be avoided, especially the breakfast.
