  • Ikshu (Sugarcane)
  • Draksha (Dry grapes) (Vitis vinifera)
  • Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa)
  • Twak (Cinnamon) (Cinnamomum zeylanicum)
  • Patra (Cinnamomum tamala)
  • Devadaru (Cedrus deodara)
  • Sharkara (Sugar)

Method of Preparation

Fine blend of unique herbs like Parushaka, Ikshu, Draksha, Lodhra, Twak, Patra and Devadaru is heated to a semi solid consistency along with sugar which result information of herbal jam.

Properties of Parushakadi Leham

This Ayurvedic medicine is meant to manage all the digestive problems. It helps to manage the various problems like hyperacidity, gastritis, enteritis, abdominal pain etc. Parushakadi Leham maintains overall health of digestive system. It improves the digestion and balances the stomach pH. In the case of gastritis, this medicine helps to manage the various symptoms like abdominal pain, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, bloating and indigestion. In case of hyperacidity, this medicine is quite effective to provide relief in the stomach pain, vomiting, flatulence and heartburn. Herbs used in the formulation of Parushakadi Leham are packed with cooling properties which help to pacify the aggravated pitta and vata doshas. Dosage

Consume 5-10 grams of Parushakadi Leham 1-2 times a day before or after having meals or as suggested by Ayurvedic doctor.

It can be administered along with tender coconut water, milk or water.

Dose for children below 5 year – 1-2 grams, 1-2 times a day, along with a teaspoon of honey or warm water / milk.

Dose for children between 5 – 12 years – 5 grams 1-2 times a day along with a teaspoon of honey or warm water / milk.
