Sindhuradi Lepa

Sindhuradi Lepa is an Ayurvedic medicine available in paste form. It is used for external application to treat skin diseases such as eczema. It contains purified mercury as an ingredient.

Ingredients

  • Sindura 
  • Rasasindura
  • Rasakarpura
  • Mriddara Shrunga
  • Madhucchishta – Bee wax
  • Narikela taila – coconut oil

How to Make?

Heat coconut oil and bee wax and then rest of the ingredients are added into it and allow to cool.

Indications

  • Skin disease like eczema, dermatitis
  • Itching
  • Ulcers
  • Lesions on palm and soles

Dosage & Precautions

It is made into paste along with coconut oil and applied locally.

As it contains mercury, self-medication is strictly discouraged. It may have poisonous effect when ingested.
