Sutikabharana Rasa – Benefits, Usage, Indications and Dosage

Sutikabharana Rasa is an ayurvedic medicine given to women to cure the post – delivery problems like puerperal sepsis. This medicine balances the tridoshas – vata, pitta and kapha in body.

- Swarna bhasma
- Raupya bhasma
- Tamra bhasma
- Praval bhasma
- Shudh parad (Purified Mercury)
- Shudh gandhak (Purified Sulphur)
- Abharak bhasma
- Shudh hartal
- Shudh manshil
- Sonth (Dry ginger) Zingiber officinale
- Kali marich – black pepper – Piper nigrum
- Peepal
- Kutki
- Milk of aak (Calotropis procera)
- Chitrak Moolchal
- Punarnava
Method of Preparation
Firstly kajali is prepared and then make the powder of ingredients from 1-13 and triturate it with decoction or juice of each ingredient from 14-16 for one day and tablets are made.
Properties of Sutikabharana Rasa
Sutikabharana Ras is an amazing combination of herbal and mineral ingredients. It is formulated to manage the post-delivery problems like puerperal sepsis in females. This medicine helps to manage the bacterial infections of the female reproductive tract after baby birth. Natural ingredients used in the formulation of this medicine are packed with the anti-microbial properties which help to eliminate the microorganisms from uterus and surrounding area. Besides of this, Sutikabharana Ras also helps to manage the symptoms associated with puerperal infections like fever, chills, feelings of discomfort or illness, pain in the lower abdomen or pelvis due to swollen uterus, foul-smelling vaginal discharge, headache, loss of appetite, increased heart rate etc.
Indications
This medicine is given to treat the post-delivery problems like puerperal sepsis.
Dosage
1/2 – 1 tablet of 125 mg twice in a day or as directed by Ayurvedic physician.
