Yavani Khandav Churna is an Ayurvedic preparation, available in the powder form. This herbal powder is known to be quite good to resolve all the digestive problems. It improves the digestive fire in the body. It is used to treat the various problems like anorexia, indigestion, bloating and flatulence etc.
Ingredients
- Carom (Ajwain) – Trachyspermum ammi – 10 gm
- Sonth (Dry ginger) – Zingiber officinale – 10 gm
- Garcinia – Gargcinia cambogia – 10 gm
- Pomegranate seeds – Tunica granatum – 10 gm
- Sour Ber – Ziziphus mauritiana – 10 gm
- Coriander – Coriander sativum – 6gm
- Black salt – 6gm
- Cinnamon – Cinnamomum verum – 6gm
- Black pepper (Piper nigrum) – 7 gm
- Pippali (Piper longum) – 20 gm
- Sugar – 160 gm
Method of Preparation
Crush all the above mentioned ingredients, make fine powder. Mix well to form Yavani Khandav Churna.
Medicinal Properties
It is very effective classical ayurvedic preparation which is available in powder form and used in various digestive problems like constipation, bloating, cramps etc. It has vata pacifying properties. It improves the digestion and strengthens the digestive system. It also improves appetite, hence it is quite beneficial in problem of anorexia. In the problem of piles this medicine helps to manage the symptoms like itching, redness, pain around anal region. To resolve the problem of constipation this medicine helps in the loosening of stools. Yavani Khandav Churna is quite good to manage the various problems like heartburn, indigestion, acidity, abdominal pain, flatulence, bloating, vomiting, spleen disorders and celiac disease. It accumulates the ama (toxins) from the body and enhances the digestive fire. Apart from this it is used in respiratory diseases like cough and throat irritation.
